Luca Scordato ; an Illusionist — 1320–1700

A relatively young and entirely stubborn Immortalist that wanted to prove that he could do more with his gift than was possible.

Immortalists do not control fate. We only control time. And sometimes, we don’t even do a very good job of that.”

Wilsa Schuttman ; a mortal — 1320-???

Luca’s only friend. She did everything to protect Luca after he forgot himself, and led him through every life as per Luca’s desires, and she did so willingly, knowing she may never have Luca as he once was.

You see a day in the blink of an eye, Luca. I do not. I see it for what it is, for the only thing it can be.”

Leonardo Soranzo ; a Magister — ???-???

As a Magister, Leonardo had an unremarkable control over Time and Life. He took Luca in as an apprentice when he discovered the boy’s gift as an Immortalist. Most of his life  — such as his age, his purpose for Luca, or the reason he disappeared from their lives without a word — is an unanswered question.

Time does not die, time cannot die. It will go on, forever, and the only thing you or I can do is be there, with it, for as long as it will allow us.”
